HOW TO PARTICIPATE
XXVIII EDITION LINEA D'OMBRA FESTIVAL
In its 29th edition, the Linea d’Ombra Festival continues its exploration of contemporary creativity: from November 9 to 16, 2024, the festival returns to the city with a stimulating program dedicated to works that define today’s creative landscape in film and audiovisual arts.
This section provides essential information for event reservations and access, including details on booking seats, opening hours, and access requirements. Please read these guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
TICKET OFFICE
All the festival’s theatrical events are free of charge, with the exception of the nightly film marathon ‘La difesa del diritto / il diritto di difesa’ (The Best Nannies of Our Lives), which will be held on 17 November from 11 p.m. at the Pasolini Hall in Salerno.
You can register from 15:00 on 31 October until 23:59 on 14 November 2024. Registration for the marathon must be made nominally for each participant by booking on eventbrite. Participants are admitted in order of payment of the participation fee of € 5.00. Registration only becomes effective upon payment of entry fee. Payment of the fee can be made on the evening of the event from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the foyer of the Sala Pasolini, subject to availability.
RESERVATION AND ACCESS
For events with free access, admission is permitted subject to availability.
For scheduled events with “compulsory booking” only, you can do so online via the Eventbrite platform. Go to lineadombrafestival.eventbrite.com, click on the event you are interested in and book; you can reserve up to 2 places per booking. You will receive a confirmation email which you will have to show at the box office, preferably in digital format to avoid printing waste. Online bookings are closed according to the specific indications and capacity allowed per event. Please only book events that you are sure you want or can attend.
Reservations must be validated at the box office at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the event. Reservations not confirmed at the box office by the deadline are released to allow access to other waiting spectators.
LOCATION
The main venues of the 29th edition of Linea d’Ombra are located in the heart of Salerno’s historic centre, within walking distance of each other.
The strategic location of the festival venues favours the use of public transport, encouraging sustainable mobility choices and thus helping to reduce environmental pollution caused by the use of private vehicles.
