The collective presents volume 1 of an unprecedented form of concept album that espouses Henry Jenkins’ idea of transmedia storytelling: for the first time, the creation of a music album also involves a book and an experimental film, which interact with each other (through the use of QR codes) to create a unified project. In addition to these languages, there is also interaction with poetry, video art, fiction, illustration, performance and reading. The project saw the extraordinary participation of artist Pippo Delbono.
Collettivo Okiees
The Okiees collective, composed of Andrea Rabbito (vocals, guitar), Adriano Murania (violin), Gian Marco Castro (keyboards, electronics) Mauro Melis (graphics), with their transmedia project “Rageen Vol. 1” featuring the extraordinary video participation of the artist Pippo Delbono, proposes a new idea of making and offering music. They recently took part in the International Film Music Festival Seeyousound in Turin and in the independent Italian film festival Fuorinorma curated by Adriano Aprà held at the SCENA space.
